Available Aluminum Sheet Types & Grades
At Continental Steel & Tube, multiple types of aluminum sheet are available, each with different properties. In addition to the following selection, we can help you find other sheet metal products in different grades or other forms, including coil, sheet, pipe, tube, angles, and others. Additionally, you can choose from multiple sizes and finishes.
Our current selection includes the following:
- 1100-0 Aluminum Sheet. 1100 grade is commercially pure aluminum which offers superior workability, ductility, and softness for more intricate forming.
- 3003-H14 Aluminum Sheet. 3003-H14 is the most widely used aluminum alloy, and is considered commercially pure with manganese to increase strength approximately 20% more than 1100 aluminum sheet.
- 3105-H14 Painted Aluminum Sheet. This painted aluminum option consists of a polyester white coil and a flat sheet.
- 5005 Anodized Aluminum Sheet. 5005 is an enhanced version of 3003 aluminum sheet with similar mechanical properties but with increased workability and corrosion resistance.
- 5052-H32 Aluminum Sheet. A non-heat-treatable alloy that offers the highest level of strength among these types of alloys, with high fatigue strength.
- 5086-H116 Aluminum Sheet. A high-strength alloy that offers better welding characteristics than other alloys of its kind, along with high corrosion resistance.
- 6061-T6 Aluminum Sheet. This is a cost-effective and versatile heat-treatable alloyed aluminum with good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
- 7075-0 Aluminum Sheet. Among the highest-strength aluminum alloys available, this grade is ideal for use with highly stressed parts.
